I’m Charmian and with the support of my husband I run Halcyon Crafts a family‑led home fragrance studio creating scented products inspired by memory, atmosphere and a slower, more intentional way of living.
Founded in Worcestershire in 2013 we recently relocated to Cornwall, where our work is now shaped by the calm coastal landscapes, soft light and a renewed sense of creativity.
Fragrance has always been part of my life. Growing up in a Jamaican household filled with beautiful aromas. From baking and Caribbean cooking to my mother’s favourite perfumes, I understood instinctively as a child how scent
can hold emotion and memory.
A childhood fragrance‑making kit sparked a lifelong fascination with scent, with Christmas and its comforting spices remaining a lasting influence and my favourite time of the year.
Today, my husband and I lovingly create aroma stones, room diffusers, aromatic plaster diffusers and botanical wax melts — thoughtful gifts designed to bring comfort, atmosphere and a touch of serenity to any home. Each piece is made with care and attention to detail, using our own in‑house plaster blend formulated to
absorb and gently release fragrance over time.
We pair UK‑sourced, vegan‑friendly oils with biodegradable vegetable‑based wax, and every product is carefully tested for exceptional fragrance throw and long‑lasting scent.
